Why is My Transaction Pending or Delayed?
There are several reasons why a transaction might be pending or delayed:
Network Congestion: During periods of high activity, blockchain or mobile money networks may experience temporary delays.
Mobile Money Provider Delays: Occasionally, mobile money networks (MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money) may have processing delays on their end.
KYC Limits Reached: If you have reached your daily or monthly transaction limit based on your KYC level, the transaction may be held until the limit resets or you upgrade your verification level.
Additional Verification: In some cases, a transaction may be held for additional security checks to protect your account.
How to Check Your Transaction Status
Open the Fiatsend app and go to your transaction history.
Find the transaction in question and tap on it to view details.
The status will show as Pending, Processing, Completed, or Failed.
When Should I Contact Support?
Contact Fiatsend Support if your transaction has been pending for more than 30 minutes, if the status shows "Failed" but your balance was deducted, or if you believe something is wrong with the transaction.
Important: Failed Transactions Should Never Debit Your Account
At Fiatsend, if a transaction fails, your account should not be debited. If you notice that a failed transaction has reduced your balance, please contact Fiatsend Support immediately with your transaction ID.
