Why Was My Payment Declined?
If your payment was declined, it could be for one of the following reasons:
Insufficient Balance: You do not have enough funds in your wallet to cover the payment amount plus fees. Add funds to your wallet and try again.
KYC Limits Reached: You have reached your daily or monthly transaction limit based on your verification level. Wait for the limit to reset, or upgrade your KYC level for higher limits.
Network Issues: A temporary network issue may have interrupted the transaction. Wait a few minutes and try again.
Invalid Recipient Number: The recipient's phone number may be incorrect, not registered on Fiatsend, or not associated with an active mobile money account. Double-check the number and try again.
Security Hold: In rare cases, a transaction may be declined if our security systems detect unusual activity. This is to protect your account. Contact Fiatsend Support if this happens.
What Should I Do?
Check the error message displayed in the app for specific details.
Verify your balance, recipient details, and KYC status.
If the issue persists, contact Fiatsend Support with the transaction details.
